Warning bars- What are they?
Warning bars are something the staff of Slick Graphix uses to keep track of members of the site who have commited a offense. They are also to show other users if the person has a "
good" warning level, or a "
bad" warning level.
How do I attain points on to my Warning Bar?
There are a variety of ways a user can gain "
bad" points onto their warning bar. What follows is a list of possible ways to gain points, and the number of points recieved.
- Posting topic/post in wrong section*: 2 points
- Not following format when making requests*: 2 points
- Profanities*: 2-3 points
- Disrespectful Usernames*: 2-4 points
- Disrespect to a staff member/user*: 3-6 points
- Derogatory comment*: 3-6 points
- Spam posting*: 3-6 points
- Unauthorized access/forum security: 4-10 points
- Advertising: 4-10 points
- Plagiarism: 4-10 points
- Forgery or impersonation: 5-10 points
- Harassment/racism: 5-10 points
- Porn/sexually offensive materials: 5-10 points
- Offensive images/shock sites: 5-10 points
- Illegal use of site: 10 points/Immediate Termination
- Evading bans: 10 points/Immediate Temination
- Other offenses not mentioned: 1-10 points
All offenses are not listed above. Point values may change depending on severity of offense and number of times repeated.
How do I remove points off of my Warning Bar?
Not all points can be removed from a users account. The ones said above ended by "
*" may have the possibility to be removed once attained. All deductions of point values will be determined by a qualifying official.
Consequence Guidelines
Once a user recieves a certain amount of points, his privelages will be taken away. The following lists these privelages.
- 5 points: Ability to post taken away for 48 hours.
- 6 points: Ability to post taken away for additional 72 hours.
- 7 points: Three (3) day suspension from forum activities.
- 8 points: Additional three (3) day suspension/admin review.
- 9 points: Two week suspension from forum activities/admin review.
- 10 points: Immediate account suspension/admin review.
Additional consequences may apply.
How do I appeal a ban/suspension?
If a user thinks he has been wrongly accused of an offense, he may appeal his ban. To do so, please send an email to igsupportstaff@gmail.com In the email, please state the following:
